Research Overview

ARA-290, also known as Cibinetide, is a synthetic 11-amino-acid peptide modeled from the three-dimensional structure of the helix B surface region of erythropoietin (EPO). It is investigated in experimental systems involving EPOR/CD131 receptor signaling, cytokine-receptor biology, inflammatory signaling pathways, cellular stress responses, and neurobiological models.

ARA-290 is an investigational research compound. This material is supplied by Marsden Research Labs exclusively for qualified laboratory research applications and is not offered for human or veterinary use.

Analytical Verification

Every batch made available for purchase by Marsden Research Labs is supported by current, batch-specific third-party laboratory documentation. Products are not made available for purchase until applicable testing and Certificate of Analysis (COA) documentation are complete. Additional independent laboratory reports may be published for a batch when available.

Identity Verification May include Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) or comparable analytical methods.
Purity Analysis May include High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis.
Batch Traceability Research batches are assigned unique batch identifiers corresponding to their applicable analytical results and documentation.
Certificate of Analysis (COA) Required for every batch made available for purchase and reflects the analytical results associated with that batch.
Laboratory Report Additional independent laboratory reports may be published for a batch when available.

Batch-Specific Information
The batch number, analytical results, testing date, Certificate of Analysis (COA), and any additional independent laboratory report displayed near the top of this page correspond to the selected research sample and update automatically when a different batch or package size is selected.

Investigated Molecular Mechanisms

ARA-290 is investigated for selective interaction with an EPOR/CD131 receptor complex commonly referred to in the scientific literature as the innate repair receptor (IRR). Experimental studies use ARA-290 to examine receptor-mediated intracellular signaling without the classical erythropoietic signaling profile associated with full-length erythropoietin.

ARA-290 is therefore used as a research tool for investigating EPOR/CD131 signaling, cytokine-receptor interactions, inflammatory signaling pathways, cellular stress-response mechanisms, and neurobiological signaling.

Current Areas of Research

  • EPOR/CD131 receptor signaling
  • Innate repair receptor (IRR) biology
  • Cytokine-receptor signaling
  • Inflammatory signaling pathways
  • Cellular stress-response mechanisms
  • Experimental neurobiology
