Description
Research Overview
FOXO4-DRI (Forkhead Box O4 D-Retro-Inverso) is a synthetic D-retro-inverso peptide engineered to disrupt the interaction between the transcription factor FOXO4 and the tumor suppressor protein p53. It is widely studied in laboratory research as a selective senolytic tool for investigating cellular senescence, apoptosis signaling, aging biology, and tissue homeostasis.
FOXO4-DRI is an investigational research peptide and has not been approved for therapeutic use in humans. This material is supplied by Marsden Research Labs exclusively for qualified laboratory research applications and is not offered for human or veterinary use.

Mechanism of Action
FOXO4-DRI is designed to selectively disrupt the interaction between FOXO4 and p53 within senescent cells. In laboratory studies, this disruption permits p53 translocation and activation of apoptotic signaling pathways, resulting in the selective elimination of senescent cells while largely sparing proliferating healthy cells. The D-retro-inverso design increases resistance to enzymatic degradation, making the peptide more suitable for experimental investigations.
Because of its biological activity, FOXO4-DRI is frequently investigated in senescence biology, aging research, apoptosis signaling, tissue regeneration, and cellular homeostasis.
